King Tutankhamun was the Prince of Egypt until he became the official King of Egypt from 1333 BC to 1324 BC. He was the king at the age of nine and reigned Egypt for 10 years. It is hammered Gold into thin sheets by the use of Gold beating hummer to cover the chair. On the four sides of the throne, there are depicted symbolic scenes related to the king. They are hand-decorated by the mother-of-pearl shell, which is a precious kind of decoration emerged in Ancient Egypt in the 16 Dynasty, 3200 B.C during the period of the Tanis Sphinx.
The Golden Throne of King Tutankhamun was found in his tomb that was discovered in 1922 by The British scholar, Howard Carter.
